Wow!! is really all we can say, Affinity competed in Lladudno in the very first babershop class the North Wales choral festival has ever had, not only was it their first time on stage singing in competition it was only their second time singing out in front of an audience. They had no expectations of how they would do, they went for the expereience and were up against two very talented and expereinced babershop choruses.
The comments from the three judges were amazing and they loved our performance.
Well done to all the Affinity girls who got up and performed on the competition stage for the very first time, you were great, we are so very proud of you all.
Congratulations to Anvil and Mountain harmony for absolutely fantastic performances, we were mesmerised.
Thank you to our Milltown friends for your great support and time.
Thank you to our families for coming to shout for us and support us.
Thankyou to the North wales choral festival for the opportunity and all the hard work behind the scenes.
Thank you to the three Judges.
And finally Affinity want to thank our musical director Lelsey Carson for being our inspirational teacher, role model, mentor and an absolutely fantastic director.
We can't wait to do it again, we enjoyed every minute.

We are so happy and excited to announce that our wonderful lead Lesley and her hubby Glen are expecting their first child, Lesley and Glen are overjoyed and couldn't wait to share the news with all their friends and family, Baby Carson is due 18th of April 2011. We can't wait to have our very own Tone-acity Mascot, we start our groupies very young!. We wish them and Pudding (pre birth name!!) loads of love.
Jen was the assistant director of a chorus she co-founded fourteen years ago, she has watched other great directors over the years but the person who inspired her the most and taught her the most is her mum lesley Carson, who has herself been discribed as a charasmatic, romantic and enabling director.
Jen never thought she would be fronting her own chorus and is extremely honoured and happy to become this fantastic chorus's director, she hope's she can do them proud!

Well! what better way to debut our new bass Lesley than to throw her in the deep end and get her up on stage. Tone-acity were booked twelve months ago to sing on the Sunday show at the BABS convention in Harrogate in May, we didn't think we would be able to get the quartet ready in time as Lesley had only been with us for two months, but we did!!! we worked hard and despite being a little nervous (Lesley a bit more nervous) we had a ball on stage and really enjoyed ourselves, it was a huge triumph for us.
Not only did we enjoy singing on the show it was fantastic meeting up with friends and fellow singers, supporting our Dads on stage when they performed in competition with Harmony revival, who also did such a good job with more than twenty new singers on stage for the first time, well done fella's!!.
We really had a great time, and feedback from our performance was brilliant.
Lesley did us proud and even rocked the stage when she started her Beyonce moves to Girls just wanna have fun, Les our lead has some competition on the dancing and grooving front now!!.
So we'd like to Thank BABS for inviting us, and being so very supportive and kind to us over the weekend.
Congratualtions to Steel (Gold champion male quartet)
and Great Western (Gold champion chorus)
and all the other medal winners, and competitors, it was a mind blowing competition.
Also to all the people who organised it, Wow!! what a weekend!!
So until next year, in Harmony. xxxx
